Dimensions were explicitly assigned to expansion coefficients in Eq. 1.
Eq. 2, in the following original form:

was missing a multiplier of the right side, i.e. λF / (4π), where F is a constant accounting for the difference in the units of α [m-1] and λ [nm]. In the corrected form, a simplified multiplier λ / (4π) was included and α was rescaled to [nm-1]. This elliminated the need for the conversion factor F.
