CITATION Jonasz M. 2007. Absorption coefficient of water: Data sources (www.tpdsci.com/Tpc/AbsCfWatDat.php). In: Top. Part. Disp. Sci. (www.tpdsci.com). DATA OF Boivin L. P., Davidson W. F., Storey R. S., Sinclair D., Earle E. D. 1986. Determination of the attenuation coefficients of visible and ultraviolet radiation in heavy water. Appl. Opt. 25, 877-882. NOTES All DATA have been obtained by the data authors for the following conditions: water - purified by a commercial reagent-grade water purification system followed by a two-stage distillation over silica temperature - unspecified method - single-path transmission with the interface effects corrected from the first principles. It seems that the absorption coefficient they measured contains an unspecified contribution from light scattering. Data have been rescaled by Jonasz M. to wavelength in µm and the absorption coefficient to 1/m. Each column is separated by a TAB - when you import the file into a spreadsheet all column headings should be aligned with the numbers.
