Wavelength to energy conversion formula:

Ep  = hv
   = hc / λ  (1)

where Ep is the photon energy, h is the Planck constant, c is the speed of light in vacuum, and λ is the wavelength of light in vacuum. In order to get the photon energy in eV, use this simplified and approximate conversion, resulting from the above equation:

Ep = 1241 / λ  (2)

with λ in nm.
