AYM - Asano and Yamamoto method of calculating light scattering by a spheroidal particle, which belongs to a class of "separation of variables" methods (Asano S and Yamamoto 1975, see also Bohren CF and Huffman 1983, pp. 219-220). Porstendorfer J et al 1999 compare this method with T-matrix method for gold nanospheroids.
